About The Hall Bower Art Group

The Hall Bower Art Group is an informal group for people local to Huddersfield who share the same interest in creating art. We generally meet every second Tuesday at Hall Bower Chapel in Newsome. It's FREE to join and everyone is welcome.

With members from Huddersfield, Honley, Holmfirth, Scholes, Shepley Denby Dale and more, It’s safe to say we’re a diverse bunch of people. It’s right to say were a local Art Group of friends.

Our ethos is rooted in people of different levels of skill, working in different mediums, sharing their knowledge and expertise with fellow group members in a friendly informal setting.

We have a loosely structured programme throughout the year. As well as the informal sessions, we have occasional tutorials from local professional artists. By passing their knowledge and experience on to the group, we all expand our own knowledge and hopefully increase our skill levels.
 

We welcome all, from complete beginners, hobby painters, to experienced artist, whatever your preferred medium. Although we do not provide structured tuition for complete beginners, there is always someone to help and advise.
